stumpy
Can't do a link as I'm on a tablet but there's a thread on YBWs Scuttlebutt titled 'backwards under Wroxham Bridge' starring guess who. Mods: please delete if I'm breaking rules referring to a different forum.
NorfolkNog
Amazing! It's quite easy to find via Google although it's not strictly a Broads forum so hopefully no problem. I see LR got in on the act too!
Polly
I always said he was backward.
Liberty
I thought the comments were a bit harsh...
BroadAmbition
I'll have to look at YBW's scuttlebut - so not seen any comments. As for 'Griff's Fame' - Sorry to dissapoint but there is not any 'Griff's Fame' 'Broad Ambition' - then arguably so but not me, never has been. It's all about 'B.A' not 'Griff' hopefully 'B.A' will be around long after I've gone to a safe anchorage Griff

Hylander
Do tell how did this vessel get under that bridge?
MauriceMynah
Which bridge was that one Hylander? Anyway, I've just read the comments and to be honest they reflect pretty accurately the lack of knowledge possessed by the numbskulls who made them! Total prats, the lot of them! Hylander
The bridge in question was under JawsOrca's post regarding Wroxham Bridge. It looks like a canal bridge to me for a start although purposrts to be on the Broads.
BroadAmbition
Is it not 'Brick Kiln' bridge leading up the Dilham canal? Griff
JennyMorgan
Steerage requires a degree of speed and commitment, fact of life, despite the armchair experts on YBW. The level of comment on YBW sometimes amazes me. I don't know where the bridge is in the wherry snap, where is Carol when we need her?! No question that it is a Wherry although it might be off the Broads, on the Blyth perhaps, up towards Halesworth, they did go there. Whatever, if a Wherry can pass under Potter then why not under this unknown bridge?
JennyMorgan
Got it, North Walsham Canal! https://www.google.co.uk/search?safe=off&hl=en&site=imghp&tbm=isch&source=hp&biw=1523&bih=815&oq=51290100330.jpg+&gs_l=img.12...5505.12235.0.15452.3.3.0.0.0.0.221.436.1j1j1.3.0.msedr...0...1ac.1j2.60.img..3.0.0.M_HpCdAMq7E&q=51290100330.jpg#imgdii=_&imgrc=eEELrtYj3fx5MM%253A%3BUpq7RN0YkXykuM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.northwalshamarchive.co.uk%252F1%252Farchive%252F770px%252F51290100330.jpg%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.northwalshamarchive.co.uk%252Farchive_item.aspx%253Fentry_id%253D134%3B780%3B581 Worth having a poke around whilst you are there, for example: http://www.northwalshamarchive.co.uk/archive_item.aspx?entry_id=200
BroadAmbition
Well I was close, correct part of the river (Canal) but wrong bridge! Griff
riverman
I can't load the link. Is it Tonnage Bridge? Or a lost bridge further along? Couldn't have been Brick Kiln, there's a hell of valley the other side. Plus although they did manage to get wherries up to the brick kilns apparently, they must have been narrower ones because the bridge is only 10 ISH ft wide.
