SwanR
Someone I know is out on the Broads at the moment on their Dutch barge - Notso. They wintered down in Devon and have been making their way back up round the coast. They are now spending some time up and down the the rivers, both north and south. A few days ago they went through Wroxham Bridge. Here's the video. https://youtu.be/ACLpdoNHksU

NorfolkNog
Wow, fag paper job indeed All the more skillful navigating with a longer craft too I would imagine. Top job.
ranworthbreeze
I doubt that Griff would have managed to helm that boat in reverse through Wroxham Bridge Regards Alan
TheQ
I noticed her moored at Coltishall a very nice looking boat. Good job we going into a high air pressure that should give her room to get out!.

Mark
I loved the calm " To port, to port" followed afterwards by the "ok to star board to star board" that then escalated to a sing song version as they went through . Certainly calmer than I could have managed if I were guiding. Well done
SwanR
Well they made it back through with no dramas. Not sure where they are at the moment. But give them a wave if you see them. https://youtu.be/5UeLcE8cy60
kfurbank
I once asked Graham the Potter pilot the secret to getting through the bridge Potter or Wroxham. His answer was "know it will fit, stand in the centre of the boat and get the boat in line with the keystone and then go for it" Almost blind faith really. I'm happy doing Wroxham bridge, but never had the nerve to do Potter bridge myself.
BroadScot
I once asked Graham the Potter pilot the secret to getting through the bridge Potter or Wroxham. I'm happy doing Wroxham bridge, but never had the nerve to do Potter bridge myself. That's what I use to do at Wroxham, till all the dangly bits blocked the view, and a Pilot put the end to me Keystoneing through Iain.
kfurbank
The dangly bits are more of a pain than a help. Clearer view coming down river, but harder to get aligned in time, especially if a boat suddenly pops into view and is coming through.
Siddy
I watched this come through the bridge and there wasn't alot of light between the boat and bridge. What made me take the pics was that he seem to leave it late to turn away from the moored boats,
