  1. And another. Note the LSJ's in this one, taken back in May, 2011.
  2. I know that Rod (SallyB) who is a professional (sea) Pilot has been through Gt Yarmouth at High Water. He has an Alpha 35FD very similar to our Friday Girl with an air height of 6ft 6". SallyB seen next to Friday Girl a few years ago:
  3. She was a very pretty sight!
  4. Well I posted us hitting the bank on the Oulton Dyke last week.... how fortunate I was that it wasn't a mile further down the river or we would have been firmly ashore on a falling tide...... Hitting the bank.wlmp
  5. What a lovely set of pics, Strow. They really capture the spirit of what the 3RR is all about.... enjoyment!
  6. I think that you've just been unlucky, Ken. We moor there about twice a year and so far (touch wood) we've never been hit! And if you want peace and quiet then come South!
  7. John, do you want me to ask if we can have the tent up? (Remind me of the dimensions, please)
  8. Cut splice (and I DO know what it was originally called, Peter!), horseshoe, Brummel are a few others that I know!
  9. MORE weather helm??? Now THAT'S weather helm!"
  10. Andy to add to the list. 11. We finally arrived back at Brundall and home to Friday Girl's moorings at Bells marina. Our mooring is just to the right of the cruiser with the red aft canopy at 2 minutes. In a crosswind it can be interesting! And that's it folks. Next time I'll be mounting the camera entirely differently to try to get better shots. And I've worked out how to get longer clips if I need them.
  12. Lovely, Vaughan, I think it's a two-seat Republic F105 Thunderchief, isn't it?
  13. That's excellent news, Alan. It would be good to see Sandpiper and Sally B in September at the Autumn Meet!

  17. I find this one very useful, Ian https://www.scoresonthedoors.org.uk/ For example I typed in "South Norfolk" and "2 or lower" and this came up: https://www.scoresonthedoors.org.uk/search.php?client_id=366&name=&address=&postcode=&distance=&search.x=27&search.y=13&gbt_id=0&award_score=fhrs2&award_range=lt If you click the rating number at the top it gives you the overall list... I didn't even know that you could get a 0!

  19. Thank you. Fred. After I'd calmed down from an hour and a half before I arrived at Reedham and thought that I'd show how simple it can be to navigate the bridge and later the chain ferry. And then onward past Reedham Ferry.
  20. Well said Strow. I've just watched it all as I recorded it last night,,,,,,,, Appalling and puerile come to mind... who is that awful American? He's just as pathetic as Ginge..... I shalln't bother to watch it ever again.
