  1. A 22 footer would be challenging to say the least. Especially that year. I was camping on the Welsh coast and had never experienced a wind like it.
  2. Warp tells me that they had 4m waves on the Fastnet, hopefully Oulton Broad won’t be that lumpy!
  3. There was, and in a high scoring game, Tiger Hawk emerged the winner by one point over 2nd and two over 3rd place. Well done.
  4. I have a spare one he can borrow.
  5. There is no truth in the rumour that RT is joining the Hunters Fleet?
  6. It's the transporter beam from the reeds to the Wetshed that convinces me that Dave has superpowers.
  7. True, but then I have never hired a Hunter's boat...guess why?
  8. Ouch!!!!! Stop trying to be sensible Ray, we love you as you are.
  9. Looks as though the keel was once a drop keel and has been somehow sealed over? I don't know much about the Pegasus, but would have thought it was once a trailer sailer. They are very much at home on the Broads. The other one isn't a traditional Broads Cruiser as such, there is an A frame on deck. It looks too like the outboard went on fire at some point, but the boat saved.
  10. That is what quant poles are for Helen!
  11. Proves you know how thick your varnish is.
  12. And very chocolatey it was too!

I would hazard a guess that you inherited the name with the van....the previous owner having 'form' in such things. It's a nice van.
  14. It is looking very good! For some reason, Peter wouldn't let me step on BA II when going aboard Jayne 2, I cannot think why not.
  15. Hi Nigel, thanks so much for posting this. It seems an age since we last saw you and Christina.
  16. Thanks Dave for a great event. We were visitors on Saturday and Sunday and had a good time catching up with old friends, making new ones, and enjoying these lovely boats.
  17. I got a few useful bits though; a nice brass cleat, two bullseye fair leads, and 4.4m of braid now gracing the Brilliant project.
  18. I looked at the scraper, Paul. Why is it hard to maintain?
  19. That’s not an escutcheon plate Pops, its dirty old varnish where I removed the old lock.
  20. Cabin doors before and after first sanding.
