If anyone is around on Saturday 16th September there is an Illuminated boat parade taking place at Womack water. The boats will leave the staithe at 18-45 and cruise in company to Potter Heigham turning just before the bridge then returning to Womack water around 20-30. There are viewing areas at both Ludham and Potter Heigham with designated car parking. There will also be a band and food available at both locations. Please come and support this event and help raise some money for charity.

It got towed to Loddon but sadly was to far gone and ended up being broken up.

We have tried 3 times to eat there and every time it was closed. They seem to have some strange opening times.

It isn't just the BA that refused the planning application but also the parish council, unfortunately where a property borders a stretch of navigable water it also has a say. Yes I would expect the BA to keep all water navigable as long as there is a history of it.

Could it be that the property only has holiday let approval.

The BA have given the bakery at Womack notice it must close due to breaching planning regulations. Such a shame as they make very tasty bread and cakes.
