  1. The hoses at Ranworth have been incredibly slow recently, not sure if it’s been sorted otherwise it might take a while.
  2. Alan gets my vote but he is incredibly busy I believe he only does BSS work part time now.
  3. You wouldn’t build that for less than 200k you might as well just buy one already done.
  4. Well I won’t be buying these again. The filling is quite chunky and hard.
  5. These are not just mince pies, these are not even M and S mince pies but Sainsburys posh ones, I shall enjoy one with a cupper later this afternoon.
  6. Have you tried Richardson’s direct they normally have some boats available this time of year.
  7. A lot of modern engines now have a hollow cam shaft so if the belt breaks they just spin the lobs round the shaft, so it’s just a new cam shaft and belt and your good to go. A cam belt change on my car is £1250. !!
  8. If it’s a condenser boiler it’s probably the drain frozen just boil the kettle and pour over the drain hole.
  9. I’ve done the London Eye twice, once in daytime and once at night. Should be on everyone’s bucket list.
  10. The black box looks like a split charge relay.
  11. Stopped for Sunday lunch here today, Hele had the Pork which was excellent I had the beef which was very chewy, no problem they changed it for half a chicken which was very good, a free coffee and a deduction on the bill. Sometimes things are not right but it’s how the staff deal with it that counts. Well done to the Lion.
  12. For anyone mooring at Ranworth, they are showing the football live in the village hall.
  13. There are no marks on the road so doesn’t look like it grounded. As I said it was gone less than an hour later so maybe just stopped on the bridge to raise the suspension.
  14. I came through around 18-30 and no sign of any problems.
  15. I no longer plug in my PHEV VW As it’s more economical To drIve on petrol than electric.
  16. They took Hele’s off the screen when she had her mot.
  17. A bit misty there this morning.
  18. We quite often run the immersion via the inverter, but normally when the engine is running. Our tank will keep the water hot enough overnight to have a shower in the morning but remember the more hot water you take out the more cold water goes in to replace it. We have 600 amps via a 3kw inverter.
  19. Don’t forget to remove dash cams too.
  20. I use T cut, as the fenders are only a couple of years old they should come up ok.
  21. What’s the woodie on the front.
  22. My boat was A620 and was built in 1950. So I’m not sure they are that accurate.
