Morning Peeps, Well, that's the other eye done. Bit more painfull this time, so they gave me another shot of anisthetic in the eye. Patch is due off tomorrow, so then we'll see (I hope). Typing this whilst looking through my right eye only, without wearing any glasses, so fingers crossed.

We're going on Aril 2nd next year for a week and my girls would love to see snow falling. They have played in snow on the mountains of Lebanon, but they have never exerienced falling snow. Wouldn't be nice to build a snowman at Ranworh in early April (whilst I'm in the pub) lol.

I think that it's a brilliant idea and as Alan said, would get you lots of publiciy for the yard.

How carefull do we have to be these days!!!!! It appears that the scammers have access to almost everything that we would normally take for granted as being "the real thing". Is there a way to stop it? - I don't know. I applied for an "E" card from my bank and it will only do one off payments on the web. I have to make a transfer to it every time I want to use it and it's the best way I have seen yet to avoid false payments.

Hi Jean, I used to hire from Swancraft or Brooms on 7 day breaks and always went north for a couple of days if the tide times were right. Now that we hire on the north side, we always try to go south for a couple of days if the tides are right. We like cruising and I just get totally relaxed at the helm (pass me another beer please). Each to their own I suppose, but for me, if I pay good money for a nice boat, I'll do my best to empty the fuel tank lol.

Hi Peeps, Got the patch off and there is a huge difference in the ammount of light I can see. Focus will take a few days to adapt and I should get the left eye done within 2 weeks. Looking good though. (pun intended).

The tide is perfect at GY on Saturday 23rd to make Oulton mid morning. Looking forward to it already. FYI - the first 3 choices of boats were not available, so booking looks good for next year.
