At present we are at Reedham.The start of the day dry sunny at just a light wind.We got here about 14.15.Went to the Nelson no food just yet so went to the ship instead,they have painted and added new chairs tables etc.Had hoped to go across brydon,but lots of rain and poor light,early start tomorrow .Just seen Andy freedom boats . Ian
  2. Marina and I are up to the boat tomorrow.Hoping to go over Breydon,depending on the weather,it seems its going to rain,so we will make our mind up tomorrow.As I said before if you see us give us a wave. Ian PS Iain it was almost head less Chef.Funny enough I have worked with a few of them
  3. Hi John,Unsure we have her sister Alpha 29(sweet kingfisher).I am sure firefly had a new engine fitted 4,5 years ago.Our boat ,water is heated via the engine,however Alan my Know the answer. Ian

Marina myself and sweet king fisher will be on our hols next Saturday.Yes we are lucky getting up to the broads all year round,but its still great to be on the water.We are very much looking forward to our two weeks.So if you see us along the way,give us a wave.Next saturday we will make for Reedham,then if enough light going over Breydon.Sunday we are mooring at herbie woods,day boat to Hickling.Its been many years since we went under the bridge.very much looking forward to that.When Marina and I first hired on our own .I almost took me head off at potter new bridge,forgetting to duck.   8. I know far more about cooking then engines,however one things for sure they need looking after and we'll maintained

  11. Last year heading from the new Inn going past the ferry there were two boats leaving the pub.It took five mind to work out what to do.Still it can make Horning interesting
  12. We went in winter and few years ago.Food and service slow and poor won't go back again and only 3 rating on the doors

  14. As I remember up to the summer of 2014 there was stern on at the Ferry,but some boats were 40 foot plus.I think BA stopped them from doing so.The problem is the moorings are on a bend,and with boats moored the other side,its not easy sometimes going past.

  17. Yes it often happens mainly on the north but also on the south.If I was you I would have reported them to the yard Ian
  18. As a boat owner we are on the boat about once a month and two weeks in the summer,most of the time our batteries are fine ,okay we don't have any mod cons. So if you hire you should be okay.You just need to top up the hot water.If in doubt speak to the company. MY advice forget all the mod cons and enjoy the broads Happy boating ian

  21. After many years of giving us lots of cherries,she started to crack and the fruit going bad after a day.So very sad but she had to go.Last night I did an event at BT Sport, Stratford London.They have linked up with EE.All the cups on show.A good evening but hard work
