  2. Just a minor point - we've hired Tower Bridge several times. It does have 240v but only low power, up to about 300 watts but enough for phone charging and low power appliances. It does have bow thrusters and a low air draught, about 6 ten I think, certainly will go under all the bridges bar Potter.
  3. Yep, ditto must agree to disagree with MM on that one. I would rate the Bridge as one of the best on the system. Not sure what the problem with the moorings is - we were there on Monday and no problem whatsoever. Mind you I wouldn't fancy being there on a Sunday lunchtime in August
  4. Ouch! We were out at the same time in a much smaller craft. The wind was horrendous and it always seems to blow twice as hard at Ludham Bridge. Must have been a nightmare, tenacity and good thinking saved the day, hope you both OK.
  5. Never touch the stuff myself but I understand the low alcohol version is one of the best of its kind. As well as top class grub the Bridge has an excellent selection of wines, beers and spirits to suit all tastes. Mrs Nog had a field day exploring the gins. It's the one place on the Broads that we visit without fail.
  6. Just had some grub in the Bridge. Superb as always and the place runs like a Swiss watch. Excellent staff and a very nice drop of Ghost Ship
  7. You'll always get top service from Paul and he'll make room for you too!!!
  8. Prices in Hotel Wroxham bar are eye watering particularly for us Yorkshire folk!
  9. I've an idea that Phoenix don't allow their electric day boats up that stretch for that reason. Must be six years since I last got up there in a hire boat.
  10. Yes, no problem, even during the last storm they were running well and to time. No complaints from us
  11. We've used them quite a bit as well as Wendy. This one runs on Sunday, depends which service you require sir. 44-44a-x44.pdf
  12. Yep, Wendy is a sweetheart, very friendly and reliable. She's been a godsend to us these last few days.
  13. Agreed!!!!! I have a golden rule - never touch the keyboard after a few beers Always wait until the next day. Also I've drafted a post several times and then thought better of it. If I'm not 100% sure of a post I don't post it. Only been modded once........... So far..........
  14. True of Freedom certainly, Herbert Woods never have a problem but of course in the present conditions one uses ones judgement! Swancraft and now Bridgecraft have never limited us.
  15. Have the BA issued a closed to hire craft edict for Breydon Water does anyone know?
  16. Well they are quite happy to waste money on silly signs while the water hose at Ranworth has more leaks than Watergate
  17. Just catching up now we've got some wifi - sorry we missed you Griff - either in pub or off early for the bus another time
