  4. When we are down on the boat i get taken for a regular walk round to the Yacht Station so i can see what boats are in. 'Beccles' can't wait for a run round when we get there. 'Beccles' on the boat.

  11. Hi craigmc67, I have my boat in Beccles, over 12 years there now, Where are keeping yours? Hope you have a good trip taking the boat there, not checked the tides for then, but stopping at Acle or Stokesby before passing through Yarmouth is good, after Braydon if you cant make Beccles, St Olaves is a good stop. Paul.
  12. I'm sure you will be ok next week, not seen it packed full while i've been there, that was last week. We are back there on the 13th for a few days so will miss you, would be nice to see some photo's while you are there.
  13. Gas Dyke has been cleared of all the small "locals" boats which are all moored on the North side of the Yacht Station taking up all the moorings at that side, It's clear ready dredging but i heard there's a hold up regarding who is responsible for dredging it. I'll back there in a couple of weeks and will see how far they are on with it.
  14. Looks like it could be this. http://www.broads.org.uk/wiki2018/index.php?title=Boat_Details&BoatId=9304&BoatHistory=43109
  15. Regarding noise, there used to be a bus stop about a third down from the office, was noisy if you moored there, noticed the other week that the bus stop has dissappeared. Again didn't think to ask why when we were there.
  16. Good question about those moorings above the gate, will have to ask next time i'm up there, never thought about it, could they be used in winter when the yacht station is closed?. all the electric posts are up that end, posibly why they are moored up there.
  17. I've got this sound bar on the boat and found it far better than the tv speakers, quite small it's fitted on a shelf above the tv. https://uk.creative.com/p/speakers/creative-stage-air
