  4. My, you must have been going fast 😂
  5. Found the link at the top of the page. not very clear what it is. It's the little circle underlined at the side of 'About The Broads' think it's a camera icon.
  6. Yes I killed 2 toothbrush chargers before realising it was the cheaper 150w inverter that did it. Recently bought one of these https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B076P9PGX3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Looks a well made unit, have used it but not for the toothbrush yet, stuck to mains for topping those up.
  7. Hi John, I always charge the phones from a 12v socket with a usb adaptor in, think that is better than using an invertor for that.
  8. This is the one you want. https://www.brianwards.co.uk/product/ballade-tv-aerial/?highlight=aerials It's the best i've tried and i've had several different ones over the years including the one you are looking at. It does need a 12v power supply.
  9. Thanks for the recommendation, i'll try Alan next week, Got a couple of months to sort it, will have to see how busy he is.
  10. It's that time for me again, it appears BSS examiners are very busy at the moment, my old examiner has recently retired so i'm looking for recommendations for an examiner to do the boat in the Beccles area, any suggestions would be very welcome.
  11. I'd check the prop you have on to start with, on mine the original prop was 17x12 never had a problem until changing the engine from a BMC 1.5 to a slightly larger Nanni. Started to seem to struggle against some tides, on checking the prop we found it had been 'refurbished' several times in its lifetime including once when i first got the boat, and it had lost an inch in the diameter. (just remeasured it now as it's a garden ornament) went with the standard size for a new one and what a difference it made.
  12. Sorry to hear that Simon, hope you have a speedy recovery, you may have to recuperate on the boat. Remember when i had my mate on the boat for a week the other year after he had broken his ankle.
  13. Good afternoon to you too. couldn't moor at North Cove for all the rif raf there.
  14. Lots of Freemans here in Beccles, looks like a meet this weekend, This is where it all happening. Get down here quick
  15. I should be in Beccles over the weekend, only to work on the boat. Got a blocked toilet pump out to sort out . It will give me chance to do some other outstanding bits too before we are back in June for another week.
  16. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, just seen on BBC weather there's going to be strong winds from Mon 1600 to Tue 13.00. Be carefull out there.
  17. I've been getting all my oil and fuel filters from here. https://www.inlinefilters.co.uk/
  18. If everything goes to plan we should be having a couple of days up north to meet friends later in the week.
  19. I wouldn't either. Took the trailer. Have thought about a run to the boat on it though.
  20. Finally! After 3 weeks waiting, due to a minor fault found during the pdi i picked the new bike up today. Just a short trip to Poole and back to pick it up 522 mile round trip.
