  5. We caravaned for years rallying in all sorts of weather including snow and below freezing temperatures and always used Propane all year round with no problems .I have a small propane for the boat ,but have not felt the need to use it as we have never been on t he boat when it has been that cold
  6. Same here I was into Cine and gave up when I got the video gear.Only recently I decided that all those old films should go to DVD so advertised and got a full outfit of Sound projector,Cannon cine Camera, screen ,splicer ,reels and even a mint First edition Polaroid camera in its case all for ---------"£25" only thing I would like is one of those boxes that pointed the camera and projector into ,to copy from, any way am looking forward to a busy winter ,and who knows may even have "an old fashioned film show on the screen one night" !!! even got some footage of Noel Edmond's on his first Radio one Road show, now there's one for the Kids as he looks the same today as back in the 70s
  7. Perry ,had an E Mail from Dylan Winter replying to one of mine, indicating that he will be Wintering on the Alde and hopes to film the wildlife ,which is a shame.
  8. They certainly have moved on ,my first video camera was a Ferguson Video Star with a recorder bigger than a biscuit tin that hung in a case on your shoulder and a large camera that fitted on you shoulder, a battery the size of a house brick which lasted about 20 Min's and a full size VHS tape which gave a grainy old picture. We thought it was great,Wish I had kept it ,would have been a nice conversation piece.Like my first mobile which again was the size of a brick,my Granddaughter could not believe we carried it about and had to pull out the aerial to use, also that it had no Text and only made calls nothing else (if no one was on the network at the same time ).She is 13 and has had several phones !!!!! and I have a job to keep up with her on the latest Gizmos
  9. We live in North Norfolk ,about 10 miles from the broads and get all stations on the sets own arial with no problems.

  23. Point taken Simon we have crossed Breydon many times and know what to expect.I have done some long sea passages in the past ( in a Sail boat ) so did not find the conditions a problem , just felt that not all boats would have expected or beeen prepared for that amount of wind and wild water when leaving the relative calm of the River and coming on to Breydon for the crossing.
