Now a half, maybe...a glass of wine, sure, but never a pint Beef ..... I love beef flavour. Do you like beef Mrs V or do you prefer Pork??? Now I understand why you’re getting those soulful looks! I’m afraid I’m boring, I like plain salted crisps to go with a half. Or a glass of wine. No ones going to get too tiddley boozing with you are they?! If you'd ever dare Mrs V, I'll be more than happy to buy you a half or a glass of wine, to go with your ready salted crisps, if you feel you can cope with the excitement I'd bring.... Keep your eye out for my little lady though, she's not to be reckoned with....

SwanR
Morning Jay! Enjoy your day wherever it takes you. We’re about done with breakfast and about to head for Ranworth to see if we can squeeze in and get any water. If not then it may have to be Acle. Have a great day too, I see you're heading to The Swan at Horning, enjoy your dinner and have a good time wherever you end up.

Some woman in The Bell last night sat trying to chat me up all night, and i didn't even have to buy her a half or any ruddy crisps. Jealous ???? Guest
Wednesday 20th March I woke to a beautiful day in Acle and once the dog had been exercised I dropped the roof down and sat drinking coffee watching the river flow by. There was still very little river traffic but Silver Cloud did pass me once again as I whiled away the morning in the sunshine, and we exchanged greetings once again. The morning seemed to pass by so quickly and before I knew it, it was after 11 and the only sensible thing to do seemed to be to have a walk over to The Bridge Inn and sit in the garden enjoying a beer or three and the lovely sunshine. And so it was there I wrote Tuesday's enthralling blog. I also watched as a private boat moored up beside me, admiring the look of it, and noting the design as a possible future purchase if I manage to ever win the lottery I don't play. Once supped up and ready to head off I returned to the boat, dropped the roof once again and trundle off back down the Bure towards Yarmouth. I initially wanted to stay tup Norf for a few days but being impulsive I decided in the pub to go back darn sarf instead. Hey, it's my holiday, I do as I please So back along the lower Bure, singing to myself heading to Yarmouth to go back over Breydon. Passing Stokesby, the moorings were now completely empty I did do a video to show what the north south crossing is like as I remember some people mentioning they had never been over Breydon, but like me it's so rough and ready, hand held on my phone as my hand became numb from the wind chill, full of wind noise, my whistling, singing and making stupid voices, I've not posted it. Anyway, as the sun began to go down I continued on down the River Waveney And finally turned around and moored up at St Olaves Then it was time to head over to The Bell for a beer or two. A certain lady finds this wall hilarious, purely because the last time I was here, walking back along the footpath in the dark I went over it a**e over t*t. I may have also been a little drunk After a few beers I returned to the boat and soon fell fast asleep once more after a lovely day.

SwanR
Loving your photos Jay and agree that you should enter some for the calendar. Yesterday did turn into a beautiful day, must have been great to cruise in the open air back to the southern side. I’m one of those who hasn’t done Breydon yet so if you need a camera person to film it for you I’m front of the queue! No charge! And I can even offer to sing a duet with you for the soundtrack.
