Nice to see most of the cameras up and working now although  one yard has not yet gor round to firing theirs up again.

The only other one that I would really like to see work again is Martham's three rivers race camera!

The Horning River Camera seems to suffer from a few outages! It seems to have ceased life at 6.50 this morning!

Brinks is back with us.    I can see a lovely large boat has moored opposite the camera.    Very tall.

I had noticed that both boats in front of Pen Lyric were gone last week. That is certainly a change on that middle mooring.

Still nothing on the Horning cameras and it looks like some scroaty type may have "interfered" with the Barnes site! Nowt there at the moment except "Hello World"!

I was looking at HW web cams this morning and everyone getting off of their boats etc and realised that the Marina camera has a delay on it.    I watched on the Tour round camera a guy getting off his boat with his cool box.  Looked immediately at the Marina web cam and no chap no cool box , in fact nobody.      So assume a delay on there.

The Horning web camera , Carol is on to it but thinks the rain has got into it.    It does seem very temperamental.

I have noticed a delay on the Horning webcams too. The time showing on them is about 3/4 minutes behind real time. Potter bridge webcam (HW) is also delayed.

When I was outside Herbert Woods last year, i called by brother to tell him I was on their camera. I didn't appear to him for 20 minutes, so yes a delay on the camera.

it may be a deliberate policy, so if there is a crash at the bridge or some other incident they can shut the cameras down before they broadcast it.

The legal side of things does take the fun/reality of it all.

I can remember many many years ago a programme/series portrayed lawyers as gunslingers but I can't remember what it was. If you can, it would be appreciated.

you will find most live youtubers have a 30 second delay from live in case of mess ups.

Barnes camera  is definitely up and running. We have just been  watching the boats all queued up to go under the bridge

if you are not seeing barnes brinkscraft from an old link, check you have the s in https, as that might make a difference

Well, I have been lovingly watching the web cams most of the day. I have to say, considering all boats supposedly are out, I was surprised at how un- hectic the rivers seemed to be. Maybe they are all much more dispersed now?

I realise it is friday afternoon with handover tomorrow but thought there may be a few two weekers around! Nobody there!

I'm also surprised because whenever we had a boat we would never ever dream of taking it back until the very last minute we loved it so much and did not want to give it back!!

Been watching Barnes camera today. Utter confusion and bonkers ness at the bridge. Amazing to watch.

I can see why boatyards provide a webcam because for me, and the wonderful views and pleasure I get from the HB webcam, I am more than likely to book with them on my next hopeful boating holiday than with any other boatyard.

I love this Horning webcam, but does anybody know how to get it showing wide beam cruisers instead of 'narrow boats'? It seems to be a 16:9 camera compressed to 4:3. Can I alter it at my end, or is it a setting by the providers?
