Tesco Fuel Station Beccles

I’ve just seen a post on Facebook that Tesco’s at Stalham is also closed today until 25th July for essential underground work. 

Is that not a bit odd to be doing them both at the same time? Although I suppose in reality they are a fair distance apart.

Fuel Station closures affect towns,   it certainly has made other garages in Beccles a lot busier.     I will try and find out why ours is closed.

There's a big digger and a dumper in Tescos Stalham PFS, so it is major..

Probably replacing the underground storage tanks

Only the "up" adjuster ... the "down" adjuster is pristine, like it is unused

Definitely the tanks are being changed and a general upgrading of the station at Beccles.  ?Refurb. They are putting gold pumps in. With a butler service

Latest  -    Modernizing the pumps so they will take minimum of £100 off your card, then credit back what you haven't used out of the £100!! On the pay at pumps that is!!...🙄

Monica this is the reason I always go to the kiosk to pay for fuel.

probably also need new pumps that can charge more than £1.99.9 per litre.

I pity the people who only go in for £20 and only have that in their bank account, its a foolish policy as it will just drive the poorest people to other garages, that dont have the self serve pumps,

how soon though before they need to raise the amount taken on the card yet again to account for the fact that a tank will cost a lot more than £100 to fill.
