  11. We had a 40mph from Kilmarnock to the outskirts of Glasgow joining the M77 for nearly three years, while the final piece of the M77 was built. Tedious it was, but I suspect its the safety barrier final checks that is causing the hold up. Iain.

  13. Just to keep a "balanced view" I totaly agree with Griff on this one, the A1 although improved recently, is still a joke near Newcastle. Down in Yorkielandshire the A1M has improved over the last 40 years a bit. Griff just carry on zooming to Norfolk on yer "Tiger" There is mair chance of us winning the lottery, than getting all these road upgrades soon! Iain

  21. Griff, Looking at that pic, and the height off the water of some of the boats IF not all of them, I wonder how many sprained ankles there were then getting off at the bow, or was the water level much lower then. A very braw bairn by the way Iain.
