  1. When that craft was at Alan Johnsons years ago, the handle was midships at knee height in a duct. and was slow to operate. IF it has been changed so it slides easily, on balalnced weights, all well and good. Iain.
  2. The answer to that one its NOT the personal disabled space outside your house. I have one, but, in all the time I have had it, only one other vehicle with a disabled badge as in Disabled Road Tax Disc. Now just had a thought, with NO tax disc now, I would have to display my Blue Badge in a said similar space. Or hopefully PC plod will see my car is disable registered. Hmmm. Iain.
  3. Here was me thinking you meant in Glesca Wellll its ooop North init! Iain.
  4. I was thinking more of the Bonza Dog Doo Dah band? Iain
  5. Hi Andy, Unless things have been redesigned, there deffo is a winch and handle for the roof. Iain.
  6. Hi Alan, Quite right, have a wee rest and enjoy Norfolk for a few days. Oh ta for pics as usual, that will save you from Grace nippin yer ear Iain
  7. We had tickets for the Pavarotti concert at the Ageas Bowl (Hampshire CCC) At the time I could get very cheap flights to Bournemouth from Prestwick. Sadly that was when he took ill, and the concert was cancelled. With the new The Hydro in Glasgow, I hopefully will catch Bocelli there sometime soon. Iain.
  8. So you like doing the dishes Mark in BAsins So nice to know we have such domesticated members eh? Iain
  9. Hi Bonzo, Welcome from me also to the NBN forum Iain.
  10. Hi Ian, I was lucky enough to have seats close to the front in the Birmingham NIA, that fella has one amazing toned tenor voice with such clear diction, yet you never see him breathing! IMHO he is number one in the world just now, but there are others who are not far behind him. Iain.
  11. I have been off line for a couple of days, but to see that picture, has cheered me up. I agree with all remarks...absolutely AWESOME! Iain.
  12. Hi Steve, The opposite for us, well SWMBO, as you may know, we now pay 5p for polly bags, so SWMBO took her Sainsburys bag in with her to go upstairs to the clothes dept. Having selected her purchase and paid for it upstairs, we went back down the lift with said item in the bag. We got as far as the security exit when, yup the alarm went off. I went out to the car, while she went over to the Customer Services, showed the receipt and was told to wait a minute, she was then presented with TWO bunches of flowers, one bunch was orchids. This was for all the inconvienence, they said. So they aint all bad at Sainsburys. I personally find the staff at the checkouts there, very polite. Iain.
  13. Hi Monica, I am being inundated with Mailer-Deamon mails. I have reported it to AOL. Iain.
  14. Hi VictoryV Robin has had problems in the past opening a can of hot dogs, tasting wood may be a task too far Seriously though, yes why not try a woodie from there. Iain.
  15. Hi Robin, In 1976 at the last minute we hired a old woodie Barnes Bridge canopy and all, for the week before Easter, it was the Scottish schools holiday week so had no choice in the matter. It was a make up bed every night and to avoid the flappy canopy we cruised with it down all day, hailstorm n all near Beccles. What I am basically saying is.... cumon suvern softie try it! Get the fresh Norfolk air into yer lungs instead of that London air that makes me knackered very quickly every time I have been there lol. Iain.
  16. Hi Mark, Very true, will use my Welsh one instead Diolch! Iain.
  17. Mark, Perhaps England should play all their games up here where there is proper atmosphere . I find the New Wembley Stadium, dead, compared to the old twin towers version, when it comes to internationals. I thought that is the best England have played in ages. IF they had played like that in the WC they may have progressed to the knockout stages. Just my opinion though. Iain.
  18. Considering I coached a lad at our club who scored a century on debut at Lords for Scotland against the MCC, I will leave it at that. A Scot is head coach of Warwickshire, and they do not too badly. Having played with Ashley Mallett and against such players as Rohan Kanhai, Sadiq Mohammed, Intikhab Alam, and my drinking pal Bob Massie, I could go on, but nah wont Iain
  19. Mark, As one who use to bowl to a past England Captain, who was Scottish, and played with an ex Oxford Blue, also Scottish, I think I have every right to mention playing YOUR game Iain.
