  4. Congrats Ray, you wont regret it. I worked for two firms. One only for a year, the other till my boss retired, then self employed from 1983. As Alan says, spare time will be at a premium. First your jokes MUST improve, no excuses now Second you will prepare a prize winning garden and finaly you will get to your boat, errr maybe not, you will have all the shopping to do ! Happy retirement ! Iain
  5. Sorted! MM. With the amount of typo I do on here, one error aint too bad.... Iain
  6. I had no trouble changing over. Sorry I am not in the Admin league, but perhaps logging out (knowing your password etc)and logging back in to see if that works. But, I think Jonzo and young Alan said it may take time...not long now till 2017 !
  7. Oh and Neil, dinny mention the Euro footy unless the boat moored next to you is from Wales ! Iain
  8. Wow! Did you have hubby out pushing you along from the stern ! It could not have been too cold then. In that £150 I think they are assuming you will use the Wroxham pilotage, that would add £12.00 to your costs. Iain
  9. Hi Jean, I am convinced that is a remote controlled Kingfisher! Have seen it on the starboard side every time we have turned to go left out of the yard I guess its a tad easier to keep the boat looking shiny in a smaller yard, than turning say a 100 boats round in four to six hours or so. Iain
  10. When the pub was there it was always a lunchtime stop and a few ales and natter with Trevor who served and think ran the pub also. However, those nice moorings were still a twinkle in the BA's eye. A very good sheltered spot when the wind does blow ! Iain Don't be silly the Dragons are ALL still over in France supporting Wales !
  11. Try typing a good joke, Ray, maybe that will bring your Avatar back. Failing that, annoy Admin! Iain
  12. Somehow, I cannot see oor Gracie doing that ! Iain
  13. Yes Howard,correct.....one I remember, were two Golden Realm 1 and 2. Safaris with the front well.
  14. Ah ha...the plot thickens....or should that be widens? Ok i'll get my Iain
  15. The bolts for the anode out rather than other way round?
  16. Correct ! ..... The software wouldn"t dare do that to my national bard ! Iain
  17. Was that.....before......or.....after you had wood worm JA ? Iain
  18. On one of their early Scottish Air shows at Prestwick Airport the manouver of the two jets coming from opposite ends of the runway at a very low height, meeting in the middle, has always stayed with me. Very scarey! That was in the late 70's. Iain
  19. What you mean Charlie, is, you have purchased a Vineyard/Winery - Chateau nef du Inge - so your stocks are at a level that can cope with Gracies wine consumption ! Iain
  20. Hi Alan, I have been up and out walking my late mums corgi at 5.30am on a hot summers morning - remember them - all the way from Acle bridge to close to Stokesby, meeting the postman the milkman and the paper boy on my travels! Folks pay big money now till September, and want their monies worth I guess, especialy if on a week break. If on a longer holiday, then yes, the odd late departure may suit if say heading for the P&Q of the south broads. Iain
  21. Nice to see him back at Wimbers, and, by the looks of the latest weather forecasts, he could be busy with a sing song ! Iain
  22. I wonder how many hire craft spaces there will be made available at Horning? Iain
