As I've said we met Alan and Tan a few times. We had a lovely evening at the Ferry house Surlingham. Mooring next to one another. Like Iain.Real broads lovers.Very knowable and very likeable a real shame there gone.Remember Alan sort out the boats up top.RIP Alan.
I paid my tolls last week. The news sheet enclosed said mooring fees at Ranworth were not confirmed. Yet on Facebook someone said they are.Does anyone know if fees are or not in place.
I don't have long covid, but have COPD. Recovering from Cancer. At times my mobility is not good.I just take my time and rest when ever I can.As others have said there are very nice holidays let's and house boats available. You will know your ability. Hopefully you can find something that suits you.
Just got back from Yarmouth. Very cold, lots of snow not laying thank goodness.Big problems at Hemsby. The inshore Lifeboat can't launch. Sand taken a few weeks ago. Then since last night strong wind and springs also today. Some residents there are in temporary accommodation.
In fairness they did some work on her.We would have re updated the galley and shore power. Don't know why they didn't put shore power inin.Yes Mermaid is getting there. Spent money yesterday getting trimmings for her.
For sure the most expensive lady is a boat!
We hope she gets a good home. She looks good.Thought they would have put shore power. If we had kept her that's what we would have done. Its clear they repaired the nose and deck.
I've been very lucky.I've tasted some of the best wines money can buy.Now wines are available in supermarkets, that are of a very good quality. Fred book gives a balanced view and as I said cuts through the bull.As he said at the end of the day its a drink.I would add.Enjoy wines that you like and makes you smile.
Little trip today for Marina and I.First time since December to Norwich. Little book brought. A very good book on wine by Fred.Ive lots of wine books, this is good at cutting through on bull.
