  1. It's an interesting place . Lots of old photos dating to the late 1800s early 1900s. Food good well worth a visit.
  2. So this afternoon we had lunch at the boathouse.Very nice indeed.
  3. Our Hampton safari is undergoing work at present. Soon painted 🎨 blue and white.
  4. The best way is too take legs off.Then take out wish bone.Get the oven hot,then cook I would advise using a temperature probe. Can be brought at most good department stores or on-line.

  8. This year for the first time since I was about 12.No cooking tomorrow or Boxing apart from some canapé.We are going out to lunch tomorrow with Alan and Dave,Boxing day with Nicola and Phil. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a happy New year 🎉 😊. Ian
  9. By road just use the new bridge,which brings you to the post office. Close to yhe Falgate.
  10. Rollesby Broad was frozen.Yesterday Three school boys Aged about 13 were trying to step9 on the frozen pond in Martham. Silly or what.

  13. I'm not wrong. Almost 50 years as a Chef Taught by the best,French ,English and European. Where as she is self taught. Yes suet is infact made from shredded beef fat and can be made from shredded vegetable fat.Then to make the paste half suet to self raising flour,a pinch of salt lined pudding basin,filled with steak& kidney mix together with a rich gravy a little 🌿 herbs top with suet lid.Cover with paper lid ,foil.If as Traditional cooked from raw steam for about 3 hours on a rolling boil. Mincepies: Sweet pastry is perhaps the best or shortcrust. .
  14. It's only a pudding when it's a Suet pudding mix.
  15. NN,yes the pub was shut for a kitchen refit,think it re opened 1 December.

  19. In the true sense no a pie must have a pastry bottom and lid.For the last 20/30 years it's been common for pies just to have a lid.Think it's because Chefs and cooks couldn't be bothered to do both.Its often seen on menu's without a pie dish just served on a plate with a pastry lid.
  20. A tart just has a bottom ie: Bakewell tart.Jam,almond paste iced topping and cherries.A Chicken pie or mince pie,has a pastry base and a lid.
  21. More then 4.I have lost count.
  22. True sums of money paid is way to much.The problem being if the prem don't paid such ,many will move to European clubs. Not enough money is paid to lower leagues.I think more should filter down to them.
