Oh dear sorry to hear this news I hope everyone involved is okay

I thought we had enough fenders, however we were moored at the New Inn this year for the Horning boat show, until some idiot moored along side of us and scraped the front of the boat.Just to make my day another idiot tried to moor also.I think the look i gave him made he reconsider doing so. Ian

Hi everyone, this is a long shot but can any one help. Many moons ago during a holiday on the broads,my mum got a set of plastic cocktail sticks.Which were all the pub signs along the broads.Over the years they sadly got lost.If any one has a complete set I would gladly pay a good price for them. As I said it is a long shot Heres hoping Ian

Hi agree with most people.I have a VHF,you don't really need them on the broads, however they can be another useful tool.Do however keep your mobile always charged. Ian

I agree with those who said try to fit a holding tank.Alan must have forgotten we had a holding tank on our shetland,we had her from new ,and part of the build was to put a holding tank and loo on board. Ian

Hi everyone we will be on the boat this weekend, hopefully making for Reedham. If you spot us give us, and the boat a wave.May be try also for Oulton. Then we will go and see Graham at maffets, like many Ladies and for that matter Gentleman of a certain age require some help with cosmetics. She has some heavy duty plastic or rubber strips on the front of the boat,I think they were put on the boat when she was in France.Alan noticed that they were leaking water,he and David tightened the bolts .Now Graham will replace the strips with bolts and capped, hopefully she will look better . I am very sorry also to hear of the news and hope that your boat can be repaired.I am sure someone will be able to explain how the accident happened. A few years back we spotted a hire boat that seemed to visiting ever pub along the Yare. They pulled out of the moorings at the ferry Reedham, just in front of the ferry, which had to stop quickly. It goes to show that some people don't think. Ian

Very true but its good that so much good beer is around. I remember when larger first came out and most people turned to amber beers instead of bitter. Now so much good beer is being brewed (many in Norfolk).Long my it continue. Ian

One shop many of you have visited if not give it a go, it is truly local at Stalham number 44 high street. It is well worth a visit and some of the produce is cheap, with the advantage of being fresh and local. Ian

Chelsea14Ian replied to JimG's topic in Local Broads Business Promotions and Information
Yes Alan is right we called in there after returning from Horning over the Bank holiday. The staff were very young and inexperienced. It took a long time to get a drink, therefore we decided not to get food. However looking at the food that was being served it looked very good.We did eat there last year and it was very good.So hope to try the food again Ian -
