As did the European Convention on Human Rights. Brought in after Nuremberg. This was very much championed by Churchill who also said (whilst lamenting loss of Empire) " We must now create a USE an United States of Europe"
I hope that this has not crossed any Ts&Cs. it is historical fact, feel free to delete if it has.
I would not in any way say I have knowledge of the various ways of dredging. But, I remember being told that that the reason that the spoil is carted away ( this by a May Gurney employee at Rockland circa 2003) was that the practice of putting it on the bank caused much greater suspended solids in the water which was to the detriment of all marine life in the immediate vacinity of the dredging.
It seems to me, that today, people do not vote for a person, principle or organisation.
Rather they would prefer to vote against something real or perceived to the detriment of what they would normally do.
I have heard of Heron Breast being eaten in the 19th century. Bittern was eaten and called "Butter Bump" by the marshmen and fowlers.
Generally though fish and meat eaters do not make good eating. I would stick to herbivors be they foul or mammal.
CQR = Coastal Quick Release. the inventor wanted to call it "secure" but was not allowed to, he then tried "Chatham" which was also rejected.
It was infact the invention of a maths man in the early thirties.
Maglite LED, 2D or 3D beat any of the more expensive. Try Amazon for starters. Supplied to a lot of emergency crews I am told.
Kits available for night vision lenses as well.
What of course this unfortunate incident throws up is that it is imperative to have proper ground tackle of sufficient weight when cruising close in to the coast. Had a good anchor and chain been deployed as soon as the engine did not fire the unfortunate fellow would have bought time to assess his predicament and put in timely VHF Ch16. All the more unfortunate being just a stones throw from the lifeboat slipway.
I wonder how many Broads boats nip out of Yarmouth and in again at Lowestoft with only a mud weight on three strand or a grapnel attached to the weight which would be absolutely useless on hard sand?
Being able to hold station and not drift is paramount for the safety of both crew and vessel and could save you having to re-arm your life jackets or liferaft or watch your boat founder.
I was a young man installing some milling machines in Aberdeen for Elliotts. It was for the maintenence of North Sea industry.
The non changing was an absolute nightmare.
British Steel, British Sports Cars, British Motor Cycles, British Coal, British Ship Building, British Machine Tools. Once ruled the World.
Sadly the British Pub is victim to the same fate.
Market Forces & EBIT.

Put these words into a well known phrase or sentence.
"Than blood is water thicker"
Just what I heard from bloke who is not normally too far off the money.
EDP poster @ Tesco Petrol Stalham
"Salhouse Broad Cafe Turned Down"
Sorry should have taken a photo.
Maybe the BA have the rats because of Woodbastwick staithe and the island mooring at Horning.
A bit like the Turne Mouth business. Maybe more moorings will be won or lost by planning applications, who knows!
Nothing wrong with pink Plymouth topped up with a bit of water or a Gordons or Booths with tonic.
Dont see a need to stuff the Juniper spirit with lavender, bergamot, rose petals and god knows what else unless you are searching for the perfect "mal de tete".
Edmistons have what is considered to be the most beautiful yacht in the world on their books at a reduced price of €17.5m. She is the 1934 Americas Cup contender the J Class Endeavour, commisioned by aircraft manufacturer Sir T.O.M. Sopwith.
The running costs of campaigning a J makes the purchase price insignificant, but if money were no object!
I hope it comes your way. Because look what can be done:
For my money Christina O is still one of the most beautiful motor yachts in the world. Onassis took a Stormont Class Frigate ex HMCS and built a legend.
I would support Norfolk business by buying an Oyster 575 but would keep it in the South of France near to the Italian border. Somewhere like Menton.
However as my wife's health continues to deteriorate it would not be alot of good to me. My own boat has had 2 hours use in the last 14 months.
