Problem with Ipad's is, you have to have the correct model to be able to download from anything lightning connected. I have one supplied in my role as a director of a local housing ALMO. Darned thing is a pain in the proverbial, easiest way to get anything photo or document on it, is to Email it to myself and then download it.

Why not install an adblocker on your computer browser. I use Firefox and have Ad Blocker Pro installed, choose which pages show ads, like NBN. It's turned off, but for most other sites it is turned on and no annoying ads.

It's not where it went that is the problem Stanstead is not a sorting hub. Its just a logistics hub, DHL do have a large amount of planes at Stanstead. Heathrow is their sorting hub and East Midlands is the local delivery hub for Cambridge.
