I contacted Summercraft and received this reply from Sue Bell. We can now stop worrying about Summercraft in 2016......all is well.
Hello Ian,
Thank you for bringing this to my attention. The reason we are not up and running for 2016 at the moment is that we are making some changes i.e. offering more short breaks etc.and that is taking time to sort out.
Please post this for me if its no trouble to you.
Kind regards
Sue Bell
My goodness I wish that I was perfect! Oh let's think about it I ..............
A cold morning is a great excuse to stay under the duvet. We always take our own pillows and extra bedding just in case. If we are planning an early start I warn my neighbours and will have tried to moor away from others. Get ready to leave and start engine just before you leave. Ensure engine running properly before you cast off.
I am with others on this. I think it is just ignorance, and lack of training.
Hope you have a safe and wonderful time. Just like to point out, that just because you are on holiday it is no excuse to be slacking on your pesky Mod duties.
Nice one MM. It is voluntary for those who wish to contribute, to put something in the pole you have to be there. As it is voluntary you don't have to unless you wish to. Simples. "in best Meerkat voice"
Hi Jason, sorry to hear such sad news. Thoughts are with you, will be different going under the bridge knowing you will not be there to help out. Not that we ever needed it of course, but have seen some strange boating crafts as we have gone through on windy days.
Looking great Alan. All that hard work, makes it worth it when you get her into the water. You wait until she is tied ap along side her new mooring on the broads.
Hope things settle down soon. Sad news. It happened to us several years ago. Took my wife ages to settle and get over it, but things soon got back to normal. Look towards the light at the end of the tunnel on this and hope it's not the train.
Edited to correct Apples predictive text. Agggggh
