May I assume,  please, that the spring gathering next year will be the weekend of 18th to 20th May?

I am looking at a boat to hire but they are booking up fast. Please confirm.

Can anyone help the newbies out with the format for these meets?

Certainly , if it’s your first meet then you bring loads of beer and alcohol for everyone else to consume .

and it’s customary for the ladies to wear bikinis and men mankinis

Does that mean someone else brings the cakes?

its nothing too formal, more a gathering of like minded souls for a natter, a beer or two and just meeting people, you can pretty much do as you please.

It's fairly informal Steve, we bring stuff to barbecue and put all the BBQs in a group so that we can all sit together. We will have a few optional activities and plenty of opportunity to chat and get to know everyone.

Theres a party type tent so that we can get out of the rain if needed.
