Vaughan Posted October 2, 2017 Posted October 2, 2017 May I assume, please, that the spring gathering next year will be the weekend of 18th to 20th May? I am looking at a boat to hire but they are booking up fast. Please confirm. Quote
Maxwellian Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 Did you get an answer to this Vaughan? Quote
Hockham Admiral Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 I think that Jonzo answered this. Yes, the Spring Gathering is always the third weekend in May. I'm sure that Polly and the Team will put up details soon. 1 Quote

Cockatoo Posted November 5, 2017 Posted November 5, 2017 Can anyone help the newbies out with the format for these meets? I've posted on this thread to keep Polly's other thread clear for signups :) Steve Quote

grendel Posted November 5, 2017 Posted November 5, 2017 its nothing too formal, more a gathering of like minded souls for a natter, a beer or two and just meeting people, you can pretty much do as you please. 1 Quote

Polly Posted November 5, 2017 Posted November 5, 2017 Ok but Austen is off limits from the cake box 2 Quote
Polly Posted November 5, 2017 Posted November 5, 2017 It's fairly informal Steve, we bring stuff to barbecue and put all the BBQs in a group so that we can all sit together. We will have a few optional activities and plenty of opportunity to chat and get to know everyone. Theres a party type tent so that we can get out of the rain if needed. Quote

Cockatoo Posted November 16, 2017 Posted November 16, 2017 Hmm, looks like I'm going to have to change the name of the boat we will be attending the meet aboard. Watch this space 1 Quote
Cockatoo Posted March 28, 2018 Posted March 28, 2018 According to my map there is a car park at Salhouse. Does anyone know if this is a public car park, pay and display or what? Quote
Wussername Posted March 28, 2018 Posted March 28, 2018 Public and free. Holds about 15 vehicles at a guess. So if the weather is good gets full fairly early Andrew. 1 1 Quote

Vaughan Posted March 28, 2018 Author Posted March 28, 2018 It is a moderately long walk, but beautifully maintained. Photos taken at the spring meet last year. 4 Quote
