While I was on a roll Nipper’s Nipper was long over due some tlc and had suffered some damage around 18 months ago.

The inside was not too bad so a rub down with 320 grit and two coats of varnish applied.  The outside was getting quite bad so strip back to the wood and 6 coats of Ravilakk followed by 4 coats of Brava.  The small hole was cut back to 3mm thick (half the plank width) then a small patch glued in with epoxy this needed to be flush with the plank as sanding would go through the veneer, the grain sadly does not match but once the rope fendering Is fitted should not be too noticeable.

Nipper alert!!

Just seen her trundling through Wroxham Bridge, flotilla of little nippers in tow, looking gorgeous in the early afternoon sun.

Lots of admiring comments from all the punters standing around eating chips and feeding the " big white ducks"

I am now massively envious.
