Can anyone recommend places to stop for a Good meal ?

What's Horning Ferry like now ?

We haven't planned a route yet so looking for advice please

I agree with Andy --- you will have to do a lot of searching to find anywhere better than Acle. Gets very busy though so may be a good idea to ring and book before you arrive.

Andy, have you got your ticket for the final yet?    Just heard that the kick off time is the same as F.C. v Rovers........There's good planning !

I recommend wherever you stop, get a taxi to Loddon and have lunch at Rosie Leas.

We`ll be in Suffolk in 4 weeks time, so will have to find somewhere within 20 minutes of Loddon as we`ll be in there for breakfast or lunch on several days.

Regards to all ............................. Neil.

Hi Brian

It's been an age since we were in touch

Moon Voyager is a really classy boat that I'm sure you will enjoy.

Since we mostly cook on board, we are no authorities on eating out, but would concur about The Bridge at Acle based on recent meals out, [make sure you book though as its a busy time this week.]

Hope we see you on the river. Its been too long

How exciting picking up your new boat, enjoy.

We visited the Fur and Feathers a couple of weeks ago at Salhouse. It's a good old walk up hill to the pub 20 mins at a gentle pace through the woods and then along a country road but we thought it was worth it, take a torch if you go in the evening as it's very dark. Mike likes trying different ales and they have a good selection there. The food was a bit on the pricy side, in my opinion, but nice. The moorings are limited and so you could be unlucky during busy seasons.

We hope to go there this Friday for Mikes 50th but are worried we won't get moored as it's Good Friday and it's the school holidays. It will be a nightmare if we can't moor, I've already booked the table, keep your fingers crossed for us .

We like the pub at Acle too, have never been disappointed the food and service has always been good.

How did you find the Moon Voyager? Was it everything you were expecting?
