  1. Errr, I'm sure we do! Cooking on a Boat Members own recipes for eating aboard
  2. Clever Girl, Grace..... I do so like innuendo!
  3. Paul, Hi. A few years ago we changed over to a new thingummyjig and in doing so we lost quite a few things, your old name included, it seems. I too lost nearly a thousand posts, so you're not alone! As to your last para, my solution to this is a visit to the Hockham Eagle!
  4. I am locking this thread for 24 hours so that Eric's (riyadhcrew) above words are heeded. It's now open. Please keep it within Guidelines, peeps.
  5. Beccles YS is being run this year by WDC rather than Sentinel. They require: A risk assessment including the marquee Third party group insurance A safety officer for the event. We cannot comply with this, however I have booked a mooring for that weekend for Friday Girl. There is nothing to stop anyone else doing likewise (but we won't have the marquee). We had a really enjoyable time this last weekend and look forward to this one, which may well be our last trip on Friday Girl.
  6. Which, roughly translated, means: Oh yes we are back full of vim and vigor ... and the forum will meet makes you drink bathroom products!
  7. We're back, Helen! And while I'm here please let's keep it friendly, Peeps......
  8. For those I've missed it's a very Warm Welcome to our FORTY new Members in the last month!
  9. Just having a pint of Wherry here in The Huntsman at £3.10 a pint! Superb new menu which I'll post as soon as I can. Starter & main on Sunday for a tenner!
  10. Surprisingly (to me) it IS in the Full Members area but I'm not sure why. We have been re-arranging parts of the forum to make it easier for newcomers and I wonder if this has happened, David?
  11. Goodbye, JIll. We met at Riverside in Norwich a couple of years ago and spent such a lovely interesting afternoon with such a charming, friendly and knowledgeable lady. We raise our glasses to your life, Jill.
  12. Mick and Pam, Hi. A very warm welcome aboard from us, too!
  13. Does it include the Southern Rivers, please?
  14. Simon & Kate a very Warm Welcome aboard from us! We completely agree with Vanessa's comments above.
  15. Carol, Hi. You can get a good stainless steel burgee pole (about 15 ins high, attaches to a rail) from Brian Ward AND a 10% discount if you mention NBN. They're easily attached and removed. (I can't find them on the website, though, sorry).
  16. How we do love to go off topic, Queren! OK, if you are stalled then you won't....... But I've been messing about with aeroplanes for over 50 years now and so I'll change it to say that: "If I push forward the houses WILL get BIGGER!" (Stalled or not!).
  17. Really? I am absolutely certain that if I pull back on the stick then the houses will get smaller..........
  18. What do you know about Vne, Sue? In aeroplanes it's Velocity Never Exceed!
  19. Or fly the flag, Monica! (Sorry, I meant burgee!).
  20. I think that the easiest way out is for you to re-load your avatar pic, Monica. Even if David finds out how it went I doubt that it will be anyway recoverable.
  21. I've posed your query in Site Technical Running as it's beyond my skill level!
  22. Andy does a good one at a discount for Members (£10/pumpout) at Thorpe (Freedom).
  23. A warm welcome aboard from us, Andy. Would you like to tell us about your most recent visit in Holiday Tales, please?
  24. Although I've "liked" your post, John, I still think it's a bit of a cheek/ripoff, really.
