I agree, for two years most of us remained in the UK.Hoildays at home became more costly. It worked. If you looked over the last few weeks.Demand for air and sea travel Increased close to pre Covid levels. Its a balance ,but if UK holidays become too expensive, people will go elsewhere.
Very true, however a friend of mine is going to Spain next week for two weeks, costing ÂĢ266 each. This is where UK will need to compete. If not staying at home (staycation). Will perhaps be a thing of the past.
I've not been there since Covid. What I know for sure regarding catering. Its been knocked for six. Many were layed off, many never returned. My feeling the trade will take perhaps one or two years to recover.Of course the cost of living crisis has and will have an affect too.
Yes she's having some work done following the survey and some work we want done.As I said hopefully very soon.Marina is have a op on ther wrist by end of month. So think should get the boat by end of week or early next week.
On a few occasions we had to wait for the bridge to open,or Radio the signal box asking for it to be opened.Sweetkingfisher was 8.3,so wouldn't get under at high tide.
Sorry to hear about the Ferry House and indeed Reedham Ferry Inn. Eaten at the Ferry House many times and one of my favourite pubs on the broads. For me it is good old pub food, doesn't pretend to be high end.Have been to Reedham ferry Inn a few times again never had a bad meal there.
Well today we got our new boat. Not just yet,but we got this instead. Should get the boat in a few weeks time.We called into Oulton today.Lots of boats on the broad today. Also lots at Great Yarmouth YS.
