  1. šŸ¤ Glad I didnā€™t miss out. šŸ¤£ Where do you find these things?
  2. I missed it, play it again Sam - pleeease!
  3. What exactly does that mean please? ā˜¹ļø
  4. I donā€™t think I would recognise a festive member if I saw one!
  5. No I donā€™t mean laā€™s! These people who insert apostrophes into everything need shooting (whereā€™s the smiley with the guns gone?). So you should be embarrassed Capā€™n. Actually, I really canā€™t imagine you being embarrassed about anything much, apart from all this adoration you inspire of course.
  6. Giggle away Capā€™n, there will be plenty to join you Iā€™m sure - howā€™s this šŸ˜† or šŸ¤£? ā€˜Tis the season to be jolly tra-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la (is that enough las?)
  7. We used to love his programmes which included adverts or excerpts from game shows around the world. Some of them were absolutely hilarious and some mind-blowingly cringeworthy! We Brits have always had somewhat of a reputation of being a bit ā€˜weirdā€™ but Clive James proved we are not alone! His Aussie twang will be sadly missed.
  8. Now Iā€™ve got one of those cars where you can pop the boot open as you walk towards it (it is a people carrier not a Range Rover though!) One day, when the car was quite new, I visited the local farm shop and loaded the boot with fruit and veg. I then went on to a supermarket, filled my trolley and walked back to the car clicking the key fob as I went. The boot lid lifted - and all the fruit and veg fell out! Lesson learned, pack the ruddy boot properly if you want to show off.
  9. Waitrose keep sending me vouchers to use, I think I have about 8 to use over the next 8 weeks. Each one is for Ā£13 off if I spend Ā£120. There are 2 Waitrose stores ā€˜nearbyā€™, both about 12 miles distant. Itā€™s only 5/10 minutes to our nearest Aldi or Lidl - guess where Iā€™ll be going??!! šŸ˜
  10. Now that IS a spider! šŸ˜¬
  11. I was thinking more of moored boats..........
  12. If SOB is going to be used anywhere other than Breydon, she is going to have to travel pretty slowly as she does create a lot of wash.
  13. Now whose idea was it in the first place to going showing our hose?? Then you chicken out šŸ”šŸ”!! All mouth and trousers (or in your case hose).
  14. I donā€™t wear any but Iā€™d still like to see yours...............
  15. Does Jayfire wear hose then? Like Robin Hood - men in tights? Ooer, my imagination is working overtime again, pictures pleeeease. (Anyway, how do you know this grendel?) šŸ¤
  16. Lathamā€™s newsagent had a couple of copies when I was in there about two weeks ago. A brilliant read.
  17. I do something very similar with safari, click on a symbol that gives me the option to ā€˜add to home screenā€™ and then an icon appears. Click on that each time and Iā€™m straight in.
  18. Iā€™m going back to the Beano and the Dandy, life was much more simple then.
  19. A very good expression I think, provides a timely reminder to wear a buoyancy aid!
  20. Presumably so they can park their motor home on a nice camp site or whatever and use the small car for zipping off down country lanes the motor home is too big for. Itā€™s always seemed a rather good idea to me.
  21. I always enjoy just sitting at our mooring watching the world go by. Youā€™re certainly not alone in behaving like a meerkat on hearing an engine Helen!! Enjoying the write-up and photos, I canā€™t remember ever going to Caister so we will have to take a look sometime. We usually go to Winterton for the dogs to have a run on the sands and in the dunes, Caister and Winterton sound and look quite similar.
