DAVIDH
I know some people are interested in collecting old boating brochures, so this is just a heads-up that I have put a 1977 Hoseasons boating brochure on Ebay for auction. You can see it here:http://ebay.us/Rq8fgf?cmpnId=5338273189 It's currently on a 10 day auction. If you go on to purchase it, and you let me know you're a member on here, I'll put 10% (minimum £2) towards the forum funds.

JanetAnne
Bound to be, however, Luna is an original Broom fit out for their own fleet which I think was a Blake's yard (?) so she may not personally make an appearance

Vaughan
This one is N808, possibly 608. The number is under the front of the rubbing strake, just below the Blakes emblem. I can send at higher resolution, if it helps?
gancanny
yes, N808, i used to have her a few years ago

vanessan
I think Luna may previously have been called Wren? This is from Blake’s 1982 brochure but does look very similar to Vaughan’s 1975 edition.

Luna is 389Y Looking on the database Luna has been on other waterways twice before so I shouldn't think this was her original registration. It would of originally started with a letter first. Captain
Hi, According to the Horning boat database she was originally Skipper 6, H683 from 1975. Not sure if that helps Neil

This is what I love about the forum. Thank you all
webntweb
Just to confuse matters. 1981 shows three classes at Brooms: 3 + 1 berth Cadet (2 singles in front cabin). 4 berth Matelot (Double in front cabin). 4 berth Skipper (2 singles in front cabin). 1982 four classes: 2 + 2 berth Wren (2 singles in front cabin). 3 + 1 berth Cadet (2 singles in front cabin). 4 berth Matelot (Double in front cabin). 4 berth Skipper (2 singles in front cabin). 83 four classes 2/3 berth Wren (2 singles in front cabin). 3/4 berth Cadet (2 singles in front cabin). 4 berth Matelot (Double in front cabin). 4 berth Skipper (2 singles in front cabin). Haven't got the 84 brochure 85 brochure back to three classes. Wren seems to have gone. The remaining three classes are now all listed under Skipper (although still individually named) and can all be hired as two, three or four berths - the listing has the same prices for all three classes.
grendel
For the old boat number it may be written under the drawers.

Ironically I only found out last year that the BA had all the old records for past owners just like the DVLA do for cars. It seems that you could ask for the previous history of your boat from their database. I say ironically because I only found out the week after the whole lot was deleted! GDPR compliance was blamed. I think I'm right in saying the boat on the front cover isn't a Broom Skipper but a 35 footer (Bourne 35?). By the colour scheme it looks to be a Brister Craft boat.
