That’s good to hear. We’ve never been to The Ship either, but are hearing good things about it now it’s reopened. Any electric available at Reedham?

there are some electric points up at the west end near the nelson at reedham (ie the official yacht station part.)

The reedham posts are often off over winter as that end of the quay overtops first and trips them and they don't want someone going out to sort them all the time (hence all the mud).

If there is a surge tide the best spot there is just in front of yare cottages as it is the highest spot of the whole stretch, I've stepped over the wall there expecting to get wet feet and had a nice surprise of a dry semi circle centred on my cockpit while the rest was covered, I'd expected a high tide and left a line over the wall so I could pull in close if I couldn't see the edge of the quay.

Funny you mention the weather, me and the wife were out for a walk yesterday. She mentioned how warm it was compared to our October broads trip. It definitely is quite mild in our part of the world

The Ship re-opened July 2021 - open 7 days a week with food 

Breakfasts Mon - Sat restart at Easter

Most of the Quay is fairly dry but the dried mud is still there. Really sticky stuff. Still tramping it around Beccles

To be honest Helen it feels warmer now than it did in May last year. Lovely and mild in Beccles
