I notice the boat next to mine has sunk at HW potterheigham.

the best bet is to let the owners of the moorings know, they should have a record of the boat owners, its always sad to see boats that have sunk.

Three sinkings, two break adrifts and now a distinct smell of diesel...

Lynne will almost certainly be in the office tomorrow. Such a shame to see that, every boat is someone's pride and joy.

Mine broke the finger mooring and was severely bending the one next door. Now secure with spring lines to the bank.

I think there is a plan to try and refloat Southern Belle on the mornings low tide. If she doesn't come up she will be quite a challenge.

Now safely moved to the corner mooring and much more secure, once the finger has been repaired we will move it back.

No, you're right... but it does include the mooring until the end of December, this year's toll and it still has a current BSS cert.

I'm not associated with the seller, don't even know who they are but I thought it was interested as those who know what they're doing can work wonders with boats in need of tlc 🙂

The mooring would cost more than that.

Yeah if the mooring is included then that's not so bad - But you have got to dispose of the boat and that could be costly.

boats raised and floating.. its actually not to bad of a boat. its got a Volvo petrol engine, and I think its a outdrive?? the skinny prop bits on a moving bit like a outboard. I dunno if that's the correct term I used..lol..

I work in a light aircraft engine shop and often have customers on the phone telling me what plane they have, my usual anwer is " sorry I just deal with the spinny smelly bit, I don't do the flappy bits", just because I do the job on the engines (mostly the magnetos these days) doesn't mean I have any interest in the sodding planes.
