I won’t say in deepest Bucks, because MK always feels like on the periphery of every boundary. We are at the northernmost edge of the county. If you try to Google for nearby interesting places you never know what area you are supposed to be searching in.

New Years Eve, My MrsG working from 1400 - 2200.  I'm clay shooting 0945 - 1230.  So it'll be a non eventful evening staying in for the both of us

Happy New year to everyone on here,  We usually go to the boat but this year it's too much of a faff with the Winter cover in place and the engine winterised etc so we'll stay home and raise a glass or two to welcome in the year. We plan to visit the boat on New Years Day to check it over and instal a tube heater in the engine bay as a counter action to the  big freeze that's reportedly heading this way  from the  USA , hopefuly get a  nice lunch somewhere and then home again. What ever you choose to do have a good time.

As we are now Heading for the New Year very soon  let's hope we all keep our resolution to keep the Boat in good Shipshape and do anything that needs doing if we break it a lot more problems in the future. I wish you all a Happy  on the River for the New Year
