    Welcome to the NBN, Paws, what a sorry start! Perhaps you'd like to come up in "A New Member says HI" and tell us a bit about yourself. Thanks for not naming the other boat, we do have a "no name & shame" ethos here. Was the boat your own or a hire boat? I'm afraid this just happens when inexperienced (or even very experienced) peeps get caught out in strong winds but it certainly is their responsibility.

    I'm late today cos I usually try to put a couple of hours in before 07.00 when it's dog-feeding time and my cappuccino time..............
