A lot of places elsewhere are banning BBQs.
You could get a Cobb?
We use a Cobb on a folding table, Cobbs stay cool to touch on the outside which is helpful and use little fuel which is also good. In the morning the fuel is entirely ash if left, but if I need speed I pour water on it to douse the fuel brick. Like you I do put the ash in the water.
I think Wildfuzz has a Cobb too?
We had a Swift 18 with double skin foam filled. There was never water ingress on ours but others reported that they had used foam building filler to rectify the problem. I suppose it was possible but sounds unlikely to work.
Drill a drain hole lower down-on a still day. Seal that and the others after draining what you can?
Assuming it’s floating high, enlarge one top hole and siphon out as much as possible before sealing ?
As for siphon but duck tape a narrow tube into a cheap bilge hand pump and get busy pumping?
I bet someone will be along shortly with a sensible plan!
No weather has changed. When we had Zoe out, the week of RT launch they were out in force at Horsey, two tenders and a tent in the NT Car park, and in and out of Waxham Cut in ribs. They were about for some days.
Yes me too Helen it can be like that. We were sailing from West Somerton, I signalled the MOBO behind to overtake and just then the wind picked up and we fairly flew off downstream on just the jib. Then we did slow and they did overtake, we all had a laugh about 'warp speed'.
Were they singing the Catain Pugwash tune on BA?
