  1. Just seen on the news a fisherman has gone missing at Cantley. They have found the fishing tackle but no sign of the fisherman. please keep a look out if you are passing this area.
  2. Make that 119 then, Has it gone out to sea or have they just left it in Norwich again.
  3. Richardson's have 120 boats going out this afternoon with another 80 on Monday so it's going to be busy on the Ant this afternoon.
  4. Passed her yesterday looking splendid in the sunshine. Just pasted Charlie Dolphin at Potter and exchanged waves.
  5. Yes it was us now moored at Upton, never seen the tide so strong in Yarmouth. Yacht station was rammed.
  6. Let's hope they don't change their mind again on the day of the auction like last time.

  8. This pub use to be my uncles local and have been in here many times over the years.
  9. Problem was I'm 26ft and they where 42ft just getting ropes that reach was hard enough.

  11. We came across this poor family broken down in mid river just off Oulton Broad. Luckily Barnes did not want it towed to the Yacht Station but down to the Dutch Tea Garden moorings because we really struggled with the wind to keep it in a straight line. What is it with the southern rivers Barnes Brinkcraft and us.

  13. I'm sure there are enough of us to tow Malanka to Beccles and then back to the wet shed, just imagine that going through Yarmouth. Hope you get her fixed soon Martin.
  14. Was very quite the other side of the bridge, pootled up to Coltishall this morning and only around 4 boats but getting busier now. The sun has also come out to play. Doug.
  15. I think Brinks Lullaby sleep 8 or 9 people so with only 5 onboard it should be more than fine for a week, when the tank is full you can continue to use it but your neighbors might not be amused.

  18. I made something similar to this at school and it's not for the faint hearted. Have you thought of the IBTC as they run cabinet maker courses and might do one as a project for cost. Doug.

It's ok accepting help and we all need it at sometime but I wish they would not grab the rope and heave like mad forcing the boat to crash into the key heading, if you offer to take someone's ropes just hold them until instructed other wise. i can imagine sitting on the wall at Reedham can give you hours of entertainment please can we have some more tail from the river bank.
  20. I once went all the way from Wayford to Beccles and back with a 5hp 2 stroke outboard on 10 ltrs of petrol
  21. I understand It was actually his boss standing in while he had a break but I might be wrong. I have been in the Marylebone box and it's fascinating to watch. I once pushed the help button at Worsted and spoke to someone in India

I topped up at Boulter's cruised back to Stalham then up to Coltishall next Potter Heigham back to Stalham, Then a few weeks later back to Boulter's to top up again princely sum of £19, that's the beauty of a BMC over a modern Nanni. If you really want to save a few quid take a Gerry can to Nicholson's in Sutton and buy red diesel there.
