I believe that the engine was removed to make more room inside, the first time I saw this boat was coming under Ludham bridge with the owner standing on the roof holding a long broom handle connected to the outboard. Doug.

The club house in the holiday park opposite Rico's is good. The place by the public staithe who's name has escaped me also ok or the pub at Stalham green very good walk down the footpath beside the holiday park. Also the Indian behind Tesco is excellent. Doug

The house next to the BA side was sold I think last year I've never seen the one with the black lab that chases boats while they go past up for sale. The chap was waiting for friends to arrive that's why they had over stayed, they met them at Gays Staithe instead, I think it was the fact he wasn't told until half way through the conversation that it was being recorded. Just down from Ludham bridge I guess waiting for low water, The "tow boat" is the one that was on compulsive cleaners and is now at the top of the Stalham dyke, I think they need to pay a return visit. Doug.

While moored at Gays Staithe I was chatting to a family who had just been asked to move from Irstead. They had by their own admission over stayed on the 24 hr mooring by 2 hours. A gentleman approached him and engaged in conversation, after around 5 mins he announced he was the parish Staithe warden and was recording the conversation stating they had over stayed and needed to move stright away. Please be aware that the area next to the electric post is BA controlled the larger area the other side of the dyke is parish controlled. Doug.

I recently lost my brother to stomach cancer. He felt unwell at the begining of January and went to his doctor who referred him to hospital. I won't go into details but a mistake by his consultant deferred any treatment to the point when they realised he was to unwell to receive chemo. In his last two weeks he went from being able to walk to being bed ridden and unable to eat solid food. From diognosis to loosing his battle was only 3 months it's such a cruel disease and takes no prisoners in who it chooses. Please support the cancer charities as every little help in us understanding this disease. My brother was 63. Doug.

I have an excellent system on Nipper, I get the other half to put on a coat ( don't want her catching a cold) go outside with the karcher vac and clean the window when I cannot see, only breaks down when the battery goes flat. Doug.

This has been up for sale for sometime, it was sold last year but I think the sale fell through. Tim I think was going to do a couple of days a week to make the mouldings. Hope if it's sold it continues it would be a shame to lose a valuable broads asset. Doug.
