Hi Griff the introduction of selling petrol/ diesel by the liter was the biggest con of all times, what was the problem of selling by the gallon (apart from the USA Gallon and the UK being a different volume|). Regards Alan

Hello David our syndicate on Ranworth Breeze has the outside of the boat cleaned every two weeks and once a month it is cleaned and sanitized, the owners can contact David to pay for cleaning at the end of their week. Owners would like it every week but the difference in their yearly management for the additional cleaning contract would be not cheap. Regards Alan

We switched to 3.9 KG Propane bottles during our winter service on Ranworth Breeze because of the shortage of 4.5 KG Butane bottles. Needless to say there is now a shortage of 3.9 propane bottles and we are on a waiting list at boulters.

Could this development provide better visitor moorings than the current Yacht Station moorings?

When we brought Ranworth Breeze from Brundall to Horning in February this year all three of us wore life jackets on the complete journey for safety and for keeping warm after setting off at 3.00 am.

What Is The Future Of The Norfolk Broads?
ranworthbreeze replied to Andrewcook's topic in Broads Chat
I have to agree, we moved to Horning Pleasurecraft in February after securing a mooring and have now become one of the many syndicates that moor there. -
Griff's description and pictures mentioned that the bottom rung was lead weighted.

Elton John was OK in his early days sadly like many singers he does not know when to call it a day.

Boulters always provide their services at keen prices.

A few years ago when the Staithe & Willow went from a cloth caped tea rooms to more of a restaurant a couple in their 30's owned it and it was very good, sadly it wend down somewhat when they left.

Hello Helen that used to be the swimming pool and gym when we used to be moored at Ferry Marina at one time, was it also Pedros? Regards Alan

To be honest the Ferry Inn at Horning would be my last choice of the pubs in Horning.

A Tow From Stalham To Brundall - End July

Usually there is only one 32 amp socket on a Broads Authority electric post. As already stated Electric boats are bit of a none starter Herbert Woods found this out when they were operating electric day boats. -
Loddon is one of the worst places for any signals be they be phones or tv, but the moorings are worth it.

My personal view is that swimmers and travelling boats should not be on the river at the same time and wild swimmers should always clearly make there presence known by wearing clothing in bright colors and bright floats.

Carried Away By A Moonlight Shadow...
ranworthbreeze replied to YnysMon's topic in Holiday Tales & Blogs
Hello Helen, the plan as I understand it. is to remove all the vegetation and dilapidated buildings down to the river entrance. Where we are moored on the gravel roadway is then to be extended with more finger pontoons almost down to the river. Maybe Clive could update us with the plan? Regards Alan -

Malcolm that is my understanding of the current plan for the marina, we have a option on the new moorings when & if planning permission is granted, there has been an objection from one of the houses that uses the gravel roadway for access. Regards Alan -
