  1. Maybe the way to go would be to replace all the missing posts and then fit some form of reinforced netting down each side of the corridor to stop any boats getting pass the posts onto the mud flats.

  3. That may be the current ruling but we all its wrong, if positive stay at home.
  4. If you follow advice freely given by all of staying between the posts you can hardly go wrong.
  5. Nobody in their right will accept a smart meter and all the previous hype of saying a smart meter will save you money is utter rubbish.
  6. During our winter service we changed over to the red Propane bottles with a new regulator. The pressure is better and the bottles are easier to get.

  13. We have used Boulter's recovery services now for about 3 or 4 years since Maffet's had to stop their dive insurance.

  16. We have also used Alan May for our last two inspections on Ranworth Breeze.

We have 4 175 auto-inflate life jackets and several life vests of size varring size aboard I check the condition on the Ranworth Breeze I check them every time I am aboard and replace the activators and CO2 bottles for tightness and use by date. with any life jacket it is a must to have a crotch strap fitted.
  18. I would always remove the shore power prior to starting the engine.

  20. our old management company used Milton's once that season we never got mid of the smell that season and was one of the reasons we went onto bottle water for drinking.

Good morning all, I am sure that some of you may have received this communication directly from the Boat Safety Scheme (BSS), however we are just emailing our boatyard/NTM list to make sure the consultation is filled out as widely as possible. Please feel free to share with any of your colleagues, customers and partners too. Please feel free to ignore if not relevant. The consultation A public consultation by the Boat Safety Scheme on proposals within a clarified and improved set of BSS Examination Checking Procedures (ECP) opened on Monday 7 March and will run to Tuesday 31 May 2022. Comments on the amendments are welcome from boat owners, the marine trade and all BSS stakeholders. The main focus of this consultation is the introduction of two mandatory BSS Requirements by way of amendments to two existing BSS Checks. The two increased BSS Requirements are: On boats with petrol propulsion engines, requiring evidence of recent servicing for any Wilderness Boats conversion of an Electrolux RM 212 refrigerator, BSS Check 8.2.2R Clarification that ferrous/cast iron fittings, joints and components used in LPG pipework are not compliant with BSS Check 7.8.3R. It is also proposed to introduce 20 relaxations by reducing some requirements or allowing additional compliance options. Details are provided in the consultation.   24. We have four locked down vents that should not be used whilst we are underway, but to meet our lower ventilation we had to have signs made to state that they could not be opened whilst underway.
