And then there were five. All being well we will be there.
Originally we were leaving that Saturday but now we are leaving on 20th.
Just waiting for a reply from Beccles confirming our mooring.

I agree. Last time we were there (April) there was a reserved mooring sign up for a boat due to arrive about mid-day.
Come about 19:00 they still hadn't arrived with people milling around looking for spaces.
Not the pubs fault, just very rude of the people on the boat concerned. The least they could have done was phone through to cancel.

Hope the link works. We had something like this a few years ago when we owned a 21 foot cruiser on the Kennet and Avon canal. Worked fairly well not overly hot.
In a previous caravan we had a 12v kettle for warm water, but as previously mentioned it did take rather a long time to work!

We always use propane (the light weight ones) in the caravan as use the can all year.
Propane works in cold conditions. We haven't had it freeze on us yet in over 35 years of caravanning.
Triumph Heralds appear to have been a popular driving instructors car. I learned in one of them and passed my test on the 2nd attempt on American Independence Day 1975. Can't remember how much it cost tho.
Funny how small and old fashioned the Herald seems now!

Pilot boat Kittiwake going up and back on the water at V.N.E (quite fast!)
Looked great fun for the passengers.
Unfortunately my camera fone not up to capturing the moment too well.
This gives some idea though.

We are on board at the moment. Going back 5th May. Perhaps you would like to meet and compare/contrast.
Same hull, slightly different specification.

Hi I unplugged at Stokesby yesterday to sort out our cable and didn't lose anything.
Regarding tripping out the posts
Just a little commonsense.
Years ago on many caravan sites we only had a 5a supply. Soon got used to only having one leccy item on at a time and buying lower wattage kettles/toasters.
We bring our own 1kW kettle with us. It will also run off our 2kW inverter.

Funny the same thing happened to us at Stokesby today! Card disappeared down into the depths. Still at least it gave us it's £1 before it vanished.
