  1. I'm glad I'm not a celeb!
  2. And so say I! Looking forward to seeing it arrive in our post box. SueH
  3. Yeah I like that scenario. S
  4. Well that's it. No more glitz and glamour. How am I going to fill my Saturday's now? Did the right person win on the night? He got my vote.
  5. Just watched the third episode. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Richard Hammond was having great fun annoying the other two!
  6. Shame about Ed. I found him quite fun. An inspiration for those of us with three left feet. And no my nickname is not "Jake the Peg!" I thought the Canaries hadn't been doing too bad? Or is bad news not filtering South of the M4?
  7. Just watching part 2 of the grand tour. Good fun again! Far better picture through fire stick than the laptop last week. Wroughton's hangers need a paint!!
  8. Hear hear. We wouldn't have our forum without you all with your endless patience and knowledge. SueH Thank you.
  9. Our Amazon Fire Stick has just arrived, will now be spending many a happy minute seeing if it works on the HDMI splitter. Only two HDMI sockets on the TV. The home cinema is on one and currently the Freesat box and laptop are connected to the splitter. Watch this space.
  10. Hi. The same for us the only reason to get Prime was for this. Now, do we needed replace the TV???
  11. Watching it at the moment, through the laptop. TV too old! Such fun. Have missed them!
  12. One of our Koi is a right Gannet. He is a Mustard colour so he is called "Keen As". Funny really when we had goldfish and shubunkin in the pond we had lots of youngsters. Now we just have the Koi and a couple of Sturgeon, not a one. That reminds me, will have to go and buy some wild bird food before the temperatures get lower. SueH
  13. Ours are not feeding as much. We have got some winter food which the Koi eat occasionally. The Sturgeon are fed all year. Like Alan we keep the pump running all year round and the aerator is on during daylight hours. We did have the aerator on for 24/7 during the summer as we lost three of our bigger fish, through (we think) lack of oxygen in the water. Fortunately the rest of the 'hoards' seem to be thriving.
  14. Yes that is how I understand how things stand at the moment. Looking forward to receiving my calendar and seeing which photos were chosen.
  15. How's about emulating Athol Guy? S
  16. So did we, it looked rather special though with the wispy clouds passing in front of it.
  17. It is a shame that shops don't at least tannoy just before 1100 to remind people. So many may not be aware despite all the TV advertising.
  18. Can anyone point me in the right direction please as to how to delete an entry on the calendar? Thanks. SueH
  19. During our winter trips on Shadow we take a convector heater. We use the stern cabin which can be totally closed off from the rest of the boat. A spare heated blanket under the quilted 'under blanket' with sleeping bags on top works a treat. Needless to say we stick to moorings next to 240v sockets during the winter. Rarely have the boat heater on as I find it rather noisy.
  20. Rosie was amazingly sanguine. Although with Strictly on and the wood burner going we were very cosy. One of our neighbours said Oscar, her rescue dog, was really bothered by them and did not stop barking for most of the night. Now if anyone invented silent fireworks so we got the marvellous shows but none of the nuisance, they would make a fortune ..........
  21. Is it me or has this Web-Cam been under maintenance for quite a while?

    2017 Calendar?

Seemed to work OK for me. PayPal said it had paid you the money anyway! Have now got to work out how to upload a photo when the 'link' appears. A bit of a number you see.... S
  23. 'Another one bites the dust'by Queen as the curtains close. Then 'sky-bird' from Neil Diamond's 'Jonathan Livingstone Seagull' on the way out. SueH
  24. Absolutely We were there the night before (14th). Had a good show with some skiers doing their thing - first time seen any in all the years have been coming to the Broads. Had a superb meal that night (our 35th) was looked after very well. Back south of M4 now. Till next time Moonlight Shadow still a delight.
  25. We're at Potter at the moment moored just opposite Herbert Woods bridge. Very busy, lots of large hire boats milling around. Last night at Womack again very busy.
