  1. until
    First fortnight of the year
  2. I posted mine to the BA on Monday. It will be interesting to see if they come back before our next trip up there on 22nd.
  3. And the first thing I thought of was Martin's RC model Catalina. Affectionately called 'big Cat' Sue
  4. They certainly looked like the new ones. S
  5. Update: Reedham still covered in black bin bags and still lots of no mooring signs everywhere. Hardly Mill back and appear to be live. Rockland Dyke greatly improved socket back and appears to be live. Didn't go down to Loddon to check. SueH
  6. Hot off the press. Somerleyton Wednesday 29 March 2017. Article 50 day. Looks like they are operational if the lights are anything to go by. Unfortunately we haven't got any of the new cards to do the ultimate test! Will have to get our old ones swapped before our next trip on 22 April. SueH
  7. Went through this afternoon (Sunday 26 March). There was plenty if space, over a foot in fact according to the height gauge. He opened it for us anyway, which was very good if him. So serviceable at the moment! SueH
  8. I know the feeling. I have always been envious of the close bond other mothers and daughters seem to have.
  9. Absolutely. Slap a 'D notice' on it to stop the publicity that the perpetrators undoubtedly aspire to!!
  10. Moonlight Shadow is the 'sister' boat to Evening Shadow, but is based at Brundall. The syndicate members always try to accommodate everyone's preferences for when they can get up to the Broads. One of our partners shares is for sale and she has always needed to have school holidays. So far it has always happened. Sue Hardy
  11. I love Ranworth although obviously it gets busy. Also Oulton Broad, Loddon and Langley Duke. We are not into mud weighting as always need access to get Rosie on and off for her constitutional.
  12. 'Children should be seen and not heard.' If you said 'but it's not fair'. The answer was 'no its dark. Do as you're told'.
  13. Blue Tits are starting to use the bird box we bought in Oulton Broad Park a few years back. Also a wild rabbit has appeared. No idea where it has come from. But it is welcome. A new cat has appeared in the street. Hopefully it won't come into the garden and bother the birds and fish. Rosie can be quite quick on her feet if there is a cat around though!
  14. Have a good one. I'm very envious - only 3.5 hours to get there. The shortest time for us is 6 hours including a couple of Rosie 'comfort stops'.
  15. Lovely day here. Shed roof felt replaced. Next door has two fence panels down, otherwise all OK here
  16. Next door has just brought back our shed roofing felt. It had decided it was more fun in his garden rather than on the roof! Job for tomorrow me-thinks.
  17. £552.55 for Moonlight Shadow. Up in the region of £100 on last year. Hey Ho.

You know it is a pity that the Oulton Web Cam isn't working. Or is it just my Pc?
  19. So sorry to hear that this job has dragged on for so long. Have you tried Custom Craft Brundall? They have done work for us in Moonlight Shadow and did a good job. Once they took something away while we were in board for our week, turning it round so that the next person on board was not inconvenienced. Sue

    Snow

Bright and sunny here. A bit if a cold Breeze though. Not that I'm bragging or anything......
  21. We found out about this quite by chance when we were looking to replace my Aygo. The C1 we bought in September is £0 Road tax forever. If I had bought it in April next year first year nothing then £140 from then on. Not an incentive for manufacturers to continue designing low emission cars... Certainly a sneaky way of clawing in more money! One good thing though, the Traffic VED isn't changing.
  22. Sorry to hear the sad news about Denver. He looks a right sweetie. Sue PS: Rosie was named by her breeder, we kept the name cos it suits here. As she was four when the breeder let us have her, it would be a shame to have changed it.
  23. So, so sorry to hear this. My thoughts are with you.
  24. Such a shock... God bless you Iain wherever you may be. Sue PS I too would willingly contribute.
