Just watched Ireland v France.Ireland won on the last kick of the match, with a drop goal.England next tomorrow against Italy.Football will always by my first love, but I love many other sports including Rugby.Yes some footballers can learn from other sports.

PastorsDayOff
Scotland deserved that win because England simply didn’t turn up until the last 10 minutes. It looks like this will be Ireland’s tournament!

Hockham Admiral
Sorry, I just came back to edit this to say that this is a copy from A J P Taylor's English History, 1914 - 1945: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oxford_History_of_England
SPEEDTRIPLE
I`m not really into rugby, but will always support England obviously. As for football, why would any working class person want to sit there pandering to the ego`s of 22 millionaires kicking a bag of wind around, only to fall over clutching their leg in so called agony because they broke a boot lace. Personally, i`d ban football from the planet. 1 1
grendel
perhaps the americans should take up football - I for one would love to see 22 millionaires kick around a bag of wind, but best I dont say any more as it might be thought political if I went further. https://english.stackexchange.com/questions/264355/in-what-english-speaking-communities-does-trump-refer-to-the-breaking-of-wind

VetChugger
Apologies for a slight "political" tinge! Watching "The Codebreakers" will show very well why I have such a distaste for "kick and clap". Its being shown on BBC2 Wales but will be available on iplayer. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b09w01q4 And this is well worth a read for the background story https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/rugby/rugby-news/story-lost-welsh-rugby-heroes-14391534

Paul
I don't think England need to get too upset, we have had a bad tournament yes, but we have an awful lot of players missing. It was always going to be a challenge. What we are perhaps seeing is that the second string is not as strong as we thought it was, especially amongst the forwards.
