Hi everyone. Just wanted to let you all know that we have decided to buy the Alphacraft 42 dual steer called SkyHawk (see boats for sale). Paul at Swancraft has a lot of work to do but hopefully we will be out and about on her by mid May. Please give us a wave if you see us on the river. We are Vern and Sally-Ann with our dogs Tigra, Tiny and Holly.

Don’t know if we will be in the north by then. Some serious practicing will be needed first. It’s 20 years since we last had a boat and SkyHawk will be a challenge for a while. However, don’t rule us out yet. Might be able to pick her up earlier.

We were one of the first to hire Skyhawk from AlphaCraft. An excellent boat with plenty of room. Dual steering was a bit of a novelty on hire boats at that time. I hope you enjoy it.

Only just seen your post, hope that you are enjoying your boat now that we are released from lock down.

We bought our boat from Paul at Shadow Boats (Swancraft) and don't regret it, he is honest. knowledgeable and reliable. We only let Paul maintain her, as he built the boat originally and is always there to offer advice.
