Sorry we missed the quiz. It was our bowls club quiz night tonight and we had to do our bit to support the club. Our team came 3rd.

It’s a shame I missed Arthur’s Welsh quiz, it might have been the only quiz I did well on…ever.  I’m rubbish at quizzes but had been contemplating joining in,  but have now ruled myself out by joining a band that rehearses Friday evenings. Hey ho.

Enjoyable evening last night.

The winner this week was Bern on 15 points mainly due to her extensive knowledge of canals.

Therefore Bern will be in the chair next week and i am sure will give us another entertaining quiz.

the astronomy outreach was great, loads of kids, loads of parents, though the cloud meant that for half the evening we could only show them jupiter, and for the other half, only show them the telescopes and pictures on a laptop, due to the clouds rolling back in, the 4 of us were busy all evening and everyone had a great time. A lot of the kids hadnt seen Jupiter before (neither had a lot of parents), and we could clearly see the cloud bands and 4 of the moons

and again i have astronomy outreach scheduled for Friday evening, at a local grammar school this time.

He's more likely to be that floating toolbox.
