I totally agree with you Jean. In my earlier post I was referring to a week or two week break. If I am going to pay that sort of money I would expect to be able to see and use the whole system in that time A long weekend or short break would be amazing on this boat, the parts you can reach on a short break just as magical x

She's beautiful but so is the Chet and the Ant. I would much rather a boat that fits so to speak than a boat that restricts cruising. I agree with Abouttime, the cruise from Wroxham bridge up to Coltishall is stunning. I would never want to miss out on that for the sake of luxury and space x

Congratulations Biker. I hope you and Mrs Biker have lots of lovely, happy cruising times aboard her. You may not be able to afford a pint now but at least you'll be afloat pint less x

I do love the Wayford Bridge Inn, like many of us I have been there loads of times. The service and food always excellent, the wine's not bad either I've seen the garden rooms, they do look very nice. Have a lovely next break x

I've always loved crossing Breydon, the boys, when they were much younger thought they were going out to sea. The choppier the better. I've never come across any Krakens or sea monsters either. You are so right M, there's nothing quite like a Broads holiday and being afloat. With the rising costs, closing of moorings and paying to have to moor on top of all that, normal, hard working people won't be able to afford it and that's the real shame of it all As for the weather, I blame it on non vegan boats x
