  1. Well they don’t have enough trains so will be hiring in some 68’s with Mk3 coaches, not sure if the 37’s will run as it normally goes to the depot for maintenance o a weekend.
  2. Not sure they have that many serviceable trains
  3. German (of course) 4 wheel drive and a six cylinder engine.
  4. My petrol bill for the weekend was £140 ouch lol.
  5. After months of trying to convince my self I can still ride a motorcycle I’ve finally realised I can’t. An old wrist injury and a touch of arthritis in the other arm I was in agony after 20 miles. The bike has now gone but I’m not too down hearted as I picked the keys up for my lastest addition to the family. Here is Hele enjoying her self a bit too much I had to prize the keys out of her hand. #topdown#tonupmotoring
  6. Oops got it wrong there. Yes the Oxford
  7. Stag boats are not restricted to just the broads. I witnessed one such boat on the grand union canal yesterday. 12 very drunk males causing utter chaos near Oxford.
  8. None of the hired yachts finished, only 15 out of the 80 odd starters managed to finish.
  9. We could always leave Nipper at Beccles and catch the train home Hele would be relieved not to have to pass through Yarmouth
  10. Oh I wonder what would happen if she gets stuck, I hope the rangers have lots of yellow sticks
  11. Not Jason anymore he sold it a couple of years ago.
  12. Not sure they do private work at Stalham you might have to take it to Horning. Has the varnish bubbled up or has it just lost its gloss and needs a freshen up.
  13. We are cold and wet, now got the heating on and trying hard to resist the smell from the chip shop, just seen the first retirement been very quiet at the bridge due to lack of wind. Going to be a long night for some just a A rater come back through and heading for Horning.
  14. The trouble with varnish the finish is only as good as the preparation and that’s what costs
  15. Sign post down on both the postwick and Wroxham roundabouts today, which caused me to miss my turning.
  16. Try sending Clive a private message he’s a member on here.
  17. If he has the correct license he can fish for trout but must return any caught before the 16th June after this you must send a catch return to the environment Agency
  18. Does not appear on the tabs for last 24 or 48 hr these are the tabs most people will use.
  19. Looking at the forecast I’m not sure they will even make Ludham Bridge
  20. Quietens down ! You do know it’s 3River race next weekend. We will be out flying the flag what is your boat called we will give you a wave if we see you.
  21. Buy a Gerry can and go to Nicholson’s if you want to save a few pence but remember don’t complain when the boat yard shuts and you can’t get a pump out or get your boat fixed.
  22. You should have saved the battery life for something more deserving
  23. The river inspector comes round the wet shed every year, I think he issued around 9 tickets last year. It’s a condition of Richardson’s that all boats in the shed are insured, tolled and have a boat safety. Can you not just buy a temporary toll until you change of ownership goes through, you get the money back on the annual one.
