Who mentioned the keel ! I certainly hope it doesn’t need to come off but I cannot say the same for the rudder
Be careful as different gauges use different sender unit, temperature being one of them, if you confident of fitting yourself try Boulter’s in Horning as they will match the gauges and sender unit to your engine. If not get a yard to do it for you.
Not if it’s been applied with a yard brush At some point you will have to go back to bear wood and it’s a right pigs ear to remove.
I use Ravalak thinned with turps for the first 6 coats then flat back with 240 then Brava with the last coat thinned seems to last quite well.
I tried this on my old Electrolux, it killed it completely. I now have a very nice Waeco that actually makes ice cubes, money well spent when I add up how much gas I’m saving.

One of the points it failed the BSs was the fire extinguishers, it doesn’t matter why they failed but Robin as he does has decided to upgrade them all so they now comply with bells on.
FFS does it really matter why they failed it’s now sorted so folks lets move on.
