Most of the people who need educating do not live locally and by the reading on here of some of the antics, lots of them never read or watch any of the briefings posted by numerous outlets about how to keep safe on the broads.

  13. Living 600yds from the English Channel, being a Radio Ham we tend to use APRS.fi which not only shows radio hams but shipping too. Most days it's a carbon copy of the M25 at rush hour with the added jeopardy of an A road (ferries) going 90 degrees to it. Last time there was a collision in the Channel with loss of life was 2013.

  19. For all those that attended, The meet today. Thank you to all of you for coming along. So gladdens the heart to see so many people and to meet new faces and to reacquaint myself with some long standing ones too. So enjoy the rest of your weekend or longer if you have time on the broads. And a special thank you to Simon for all his hard work, also to the BA Rangers for their time. To the wonderful Team at Salhouse for making the bookings seamless in their execution. A special shout out to Sophie the Salhouse ranger on duty. Nobody would guess it was one of your first duties on your own.
  20. Bought My Mazda 2 Through the trade as my nephew works for a dealer. It was going to auction, if it didn't sell Paid £8900 for it as it was a lease car with 22000 miles in two years. Looking on car sale websites, I could sell it now, having done an extra 20000 miles in four years and make a small profit on it
